A New MAAT: A Complete Redesign, Built Around How You Actually Run Your Gym

Over the past months, we’ve been listening closely to gym owners, coaches, and practitioners across the MAAT community. From daily conversations on the support chat to quick exchanges after class during our visits to your academies. Along the way, we’ve carefully gathered your feedback, frustrations, and ideas, and used them to shape every part of this update.
Today we're finally excited to share something big.
We’ve completely redesigned MAAT from the ground up.
This goes beyond a fresh new look: it introduces a new visual language and redesigned user flows that make the platform clearer, faster, and more powerful for both gym owners and practitioners.
A New Visual Language
The first thing you’ll notice is how MAAT looks & feels.
The new design brings a cleaner, more modern interface optimised for maximum clarity and simplicity of use. The goal is simple: more time on the mat, less time tapping buttons.
Whether you’re quickly checking a member’s progress between classes or managing subscriptions at the end of the day, the interface now guides your attention to what matters most. Thoughtful defaults that will help you get more done with less configuration.

Smarter Flows, Built From Your Feedback
Alongside the visual refresh, we’ve reworked some of the most important flows in the app. These changes are directly inspired by the most common questions, issues, and feature requests we’ve received.
Here are some of the highlights:
1) Member Overview
One of the most requested feature was an improved and more complete member overview: you gave us the feedback, we listened.
The member profile has been fully redesigned to give gym owners a true 360° view.
You can now see, in one place:
Full Personal & Contact details
Active and past memberships
Training activity and attendance
Graduation and belt progression
No more jumping between screens to understand where someone stands. Everything you need to support your members and run your gym smoothly is now consolidated into a single, clear view.

2) Checkout Experience
You told us how important those first moments are when a new member walks through the door. The checkout often becomes their first real interaction with your gym and it sets the tone for everything that follows.
The first steps matter most, and when they’re blocked, everything that follows becomes harder for someone walking through the door for the first time.
That’s why we’ve completely rethought the checkout experience, built around two simple principles: clarity and accuracy.
Our new flow guides members step by step through their purchases. Upgrades, downgrades, are now more explicit, easier to understand, and harder to get wrong.
The result: happier members, smoother onboarding, and less revenue left on the table.

3) Membership Enforcement & Smarter Filters
We’ve improved how MAAT handles members without an active membership.
The system now enforces missing memberships more clearly, helping you avoid edge cases where members slip through without a plan. On top of that, new and improved filters make it easier to:
Spot overdue memberships
Find members missing a plan
Take action quickly and consistently
This gives you better control, cleaner data, and fewer surprises.

4) Multi-Profile Accounts
For families and academies who has parents and kids under the same account, managing profiles is now much easier.
Creating new profiles, switching between them, and managing their memberships and activities has been redesigned into a more intuitive experience: less friction for parents, and less administrative overhead for gym owners.

5) New Stats & Progress Insights for Members
Practitioners now get access to new graphs and statistics that show their activity over time, and an AI summary to help contextualise results and new goals.
This makes progress more tangible and motivating, turning attendance and consistency into something you can actually see and track.

6) Tools for Selling & Scheduling
On the gym owner side, we’ve simplified the most used tools:
Clearer flows to manage plans and drop-ins
A more intuitive schedule manager
The result is less time configuring the system, and more time focusing on your academy and your classes.

This Is Just the Beginning
This update represents the foundation for everything we’re building next.
With a stronger design language and cleaner internal flows, we can move faster, deliver better features, and keep improving the experience for both gym owners and practitioners.
As always, your feedback continues to shape MAAT.
If you have ideas, questions, or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for building this community with us.
See you on the MAAT.
